Trina grew up in Temecula, CA, where her passion for fitness and health started from an early age. She was very active in her childhood, playing a wide variety of sports before deciding to dedicate most of her time to golf and improving her game. Her other interests include weightlifting, hiking, surfing, and snowboarding. Trina was an avid runner until a friend introduced her to the gym. From that point on, she fell in love with strength training and the multitude of benefits it provides, enabling her to become healthier and stronger overall.
Trina attended UCLA for two years before transferring to California State University, San Marcos to further pursue her passion for fitness, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. Shortly after graduating, she became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and started working as a Personal Trainer/Kinesiologist in a small gym in her hometown. From this experience, she gained a deeper understanding of functional movement and rehabilitation exercises, as well as experience designing exercise programs to fit each client’s specific needs. She was able to work with a wide variety of clients, including geriatric adults, youth athletes, military personnel, and everyone in between.
After this, Trina worked two different jobs that gave her new perspectives of fitness and training. She worked as a golf fitness trainer at a golf performance facility utilizing her TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Level One Certification to recommend golf specific exercises to clients looking to improve their golf game. She also worked at an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic where she trained clients using specific exercises to help them bounce back from injuries. She looks forward to meeting you and sharing her education and experience to personalize your workouts, help you enjoy your fitness journey, reach your goals, and maintain your fitness throughout your lifetime.
